MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consultancy organization. The European-based company focuses on the IT and Engineering domains for innovative systems within industrial projects. The office and our clients in NL are located in the Eindhoven region, but the ambition is to open more locations in the Netherlands in the short term. The company is formed by a ‘can-do’ mentality, in which responsibilities lie low in the organization.

The entire team consists of recruiters, business developers/managers, our HR manager and a Country Director, all between the ages of 22 and 32. We operate from a beautiful and spacious office in the centre of Eindhoven, where we work hard but also have a lot of fun together. We have options for different levels of seniority within MCA; we are open to junior/starters who still need to be trained within MCA, but there is also room for a Business Manager with several years of relevant experience who wants to take the next step.

The role

In the exciting and challenging role of Business Developer you are responsible for bringing in new projects, ensuring that you speak to and recruit the consultants that are needed and you – as their employer – ensure that your team of consultants feels ‘happy’ at MCA. You will have direct contact with both large and smaller MCA clients in the region, such as ASML, Philips, TomTom, DAF Trucks and others.

This means that the role is build up out of a combination between the fields of sales, recruitment and people management. As a Business Developer you will work closely with your Senior Manager, who, together with some of the other Business Managers/Developers, will coach you in your other daily work and help you develop in your career. In addition, you will have full support from our recruitment team, consisting of a recruitment manager and three recruiters, to find the best candidates nationally and internationally.

The person we have in mind

  • Has completed a technical or commercial education at minimum HBO level, preferably already with a relevant internship or some work experience in the industry.
  • Speaks – given the client portfolio to be edited – fluent English
  • Feels attracted to the challenge that there are many opportunities in the market that can be capitalized on.
  • Has a healthy dose of guts and energy and is not afraid to pick up and try new things.
  • Likes to work independently on his own portfolio, but at the same time finds it inspiring and instructive to learn from colleagues and to develop himself/herself further.
