Voor een toonaangevende organisatie in de transport van tankcontainers zoeken we een enthousiaste Junior Account Manager. Als je een commerciële instelling hebt en het leuk vindt om nieuwe klanten te werven, dan is deze functie iets voor jou! Je taken zijn onder andere:
- Het afhandelen van administratieve taken met betrekking tot transportopdrachten.
- Zorgen voor een efficiënte levering van de producten van de klant van punt A naar punt B.
- Het volgen van transportopdrachten gedurende het gehele proces en indien nodig bijsturen.
- Onderhouden van een goede relatie met opdrachtgevers.
- Actief meedenken met de klant.
- Rapporteren aan de Senior Account Manager en de Operations Manager.
Wat heb je nodig?
Als Junior Account Manager ben je het gezicht van ons bedrijf. Je bent in staat om het overzicht te bewaren en je bent leergierig. Voor deze uitdagende functie bieden we mogelijkheden voor groei. De volgende vereisten zijn van toepassing:
- Afgeronde MBO-opleiding, bij voorkeur in de richting van transport en/of logistiek.
- Relevante stage-ervaring in een vergelijkbare branche.
- Kennis van gevaarlijke stoffen is een pluspunt.
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
- Bekendheid met Windows, Outlook, Word en Excel.
- Uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
- Kennis van de Duitse taal is een pluspunt.

As Inside Solution Advisor IBM/RedHat you will be part of the Enterprise Software Team responsible for IBM, Red Hat and Citrix related portfolio. We are part of the MultiVendor Business Unit which exists of 4 different Sales Teams, all with their own Vendor and Theme related Portfolio. All Themes and represented Vendors represent high-end technology solutions and Technology Market Leaders.
This role is the liaison between the dedicated sales team, customers, publishers, and distributor. Cooperating with our Business Development Managers, customers and suppliers/vendors, the Inside Solution Advisor will be able to guard and handle the customer (pre)sales cycle together with the Solution Advisor. When taking over this position you will have daily contact with customers and prospects, advise them about the latest developments. The main focus is on possible opportunities and upcoming contract renewals as well as positioning our Solution Advisors for more in-depth conversation about the specific specialism. Looking at all basic (proposal) request, you are qualifying the opportunity, add value and optimize the margin yourself, supported and consulted by the Solution Advisor as needed. This way you are the spider in the web for a sustainable relationship between your Team, our customers, the internal organization, and Vendor & Distributor.
The role
Responsible for informing/advising and positioning the Solution Advisors at customers:
- You work systematically to get in touch with customers and prospects as efficiently and effectively as possible
- You ask the right questions to the customer with the aim of positioning the Solution Advisor and making an appointment for the Solution Advisor with the customer.
- You work as a Team and offer support throughout the entire sales cycle
Responsible for managing renewals:
- You contact our customers in a timely and proactive manner to discuss the renewal.
- You discuss the current and desired situation and make an appointment for the Solution Advisor to discuss the desired situation with the customer.
- In collaboration with Sales and the Solution Advisor you make a proposal for a renewal; in certain situations you handle the renewal completely independently.
Responsible for operational support:
- You are responsible for operational support of your team / the teams of which you are part
- Maintain operational contacts with Vendors and Distributors
- You are the first point of contact for our internal organization regarding your theme or specialization
What we need to see from you
Qualifications
- At least first professional experience in (Inside IT) Sales
- Associate’s (HBO) degree or higher
- Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, verbally and in writing
Knowledge, skills and abilities required
- Good social skills, conversational skills and relation management skills
- Good knowledge of the applicable specialism and aware of the current and future business goals in the market
- Knowledge of IBM/ RedHat Opensource portfolio, market and competition
- Applicable Sales and Technical certifications are an advantage
- Understanding of Solution Selling and Business Outcome
- Known with Business Development
- Experienced in outbound selling
- Able to talk value to middle management on business level
- Willing to learn and develop in a dynamic environment
